I’ve created The Art of Loving Yourself as a place to help everybody get back to their roots!
My first passion in life was art.
Now… it’s me.
—My goodness, how vain! But wait, let me explain—
I thought art helped me become the proud artist I am today. But as I got older and life became more realistic, I could see how art wasn’t prioritized with age, and I couldn’t let that happen to me.
In time, I realized that in order to make art at all… I had to make myself first.
As a child, you’re not presented with bills, health issues, and worries. So it’s easier to stay in touch with who you truly are and who you want to be in life.
But it can be really hard to get it back if you feel like you’ve lost it.
So we are here today at a place where you can find that part of yourself again and make it happen ✨
At The Art of Loving Yourself, you can refresh your eyes while getting your mental well-being back on track!
I want a place where you are free of judgment and complexes—a place where you can be your creative self with like-minded individuals, sharing and reminding each other how to revive that part of themselves.
With art exhibitions every other month and a constant search for talent, we are open to learners AND teachers!
We welcome everyone: art teachers, yoga teachers, craft class instructors, spiritual guides, group talk facilitators, sex educators, nutritionists, physiotherapists, group therapists, still-life drawing enthusiasts, art therapists, and so much more—from Malta and beyond!
In this space, I want to give people the chance to share what drives them to live a more sustainable life and to help others who just don’t know where to start—all while being surrounded by inspiring artwork to remind you to be YOU!
Today’s world is all about becoming hyper-independent. But as human beings, that is not our nature. I’m here today, going against all odds, for people who are “doing what they are supposed to do” but still feel something is missing. I’m here to help them find what makes life fulfilling.
Eventually, we all need to get off our high horse and admit to ourselves that being independent in everything is unrealistic. We need each other to truly understand The Art of Loving Ourselves.
I guarantee you’ll enjoy your experience here, and we hope to see you (or have you be part of) the next one!
With love and acceptance,
Your host,
Monica Monique Farrugia ✨
